Lindy Herman
Lindy Herman joined the TRW Law Group as an associate in 2007. In addition to a Juris Doctorate, Ms. Herman holds certificates in Intellectual Property Law and International and Comparative Law. Ms. Herman received her Bachelor of Arts in History, with a focus on Museum Studies, and a Minor in French. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Herman was the Youth Education Program Coordinator for the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, California. It was during this position that she became particularly interested in international intellectual property issues related to cultural property, fine arts/artist's rights, and the international exchange of ideas.
Ms. Herman served as a research assistant to Professor David Welkowitz where her work on international trademark law contributed to the latest revision of his treatise Trademark Dilution: Federal, State, and International Law (BNA Books, 2005 Cumulative Supplement).
Ms. Herman worked as a law clerk for the intellectual property boutique firm of J. Mark Holland and Associates in Newport Beach, California, where she assisted clients with domestic and international trademark registrations, trademark portfolio management, copyright registrations, work for hire and confidentiality agreements, copyright and patent infringement litigation, and dispute settlements.
When away from the firm, Ms. Herman enjoys attending the latest museum exhibitions, hiking, snowboarding, wine tasting, and volunteers her time at a local animal shelter.
